The Anime Festival Asia (AFA ‘08) is the first ever grand-scale anime convention in South East Asia. Japanese animation companies and retailers will be there to showcase the best of anime culture for two days. Event highlights include:

  (mecha designer for many Gundams including Gundam SEED and Gundam 00)

• Akiba Town - a massive market of all things anime, all the way from Japan!
• Planet Mech - a celebration of all things Mecha
• Bandai Action Kits Universal Cup
• Cosplay Competition
• Art Competition

All this is happening at the Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore.

But wait, here comes the best part: EMiNA will be organizing a trip to the event, and we want YOU to ride with us! Basically we will take care of all the transportation, immigration and accomodation issues so you don’t have to. We’ll even get the AFA entrance tickets for you!

So here’s how it goes. We will be heading there by FirstCoach Express and we will stay at Fragrance Hostel for THREE(3) nights before we return to KL. The trip will be bound by a very loose schedule, and you are also free to explore different places in Singapore, so you can shop and dine to your heart’s content.

It’ll be a very laid-back trip with lots of freedom for everyone - like you, we don’t like constraints and uptight rules when we go on vacation ;)

This trip is open to all MMU students, as well as anime lovers from the public. Even if you’re not an MMU student, you may still sign up and ride with us as one large group. After all, the more the merrier, right? Hurry though, as only 40 seats are available!

- RM260 for EMiNA Members (Cyber AND Melaka! ‘Cause we’re so nice.)
- RM300 for Non-members

Cosplayers’ Discount
Pre-register as a cosplayer with AFA ‘08 and we will waive RM20 off the fees for you!

VIP Discount
If you have confirmed orders for VIP tickets for the May’N Concert, you are also entitled to RM20 discount!
